Ewell Village

Branding and identity

For this project, I worked closely with a few individuals who live in Ewell, Surrey (where I am also based.)

The aim was to create a brand that could be easily recognisable, whilst represent all the things the community wanted for their Village.

I created logos for a couple of seasonal events, as well as a main social media one that could be used across all lines of communication

Age Concern Christmas Cards

'Santa's Summer Holiday'
I was approached by our local branch of Age Concern to ask if I would produce Christmas cards for them in 2018. We liked the idea of having a comical theme that would appeal to any age, and ideally the subject would be someone elderly. So naturally I went with good old Saint Nick. Conveniently I knew someone who has had many years experience in such a role - my grandad. We got a few funny looks in the middle of July as we were on the beach in Devon, but it was worth it for some beautifully funny shots.
And thus, Santa on his summer holidays was the result. I wanted to show him doing some very typical things, such as gardening and lounging in the sun; but I'm also fortunate that my grandad has a little workshop, so I was able to get a beautiful shot of him doing some wood turning.
The pops of colour then followed as we really wanted the suit to be emphasised in each image, with a little nod towards each activity.

2nd Ewell Scouts

My local Scout group, 'Rainsters', is very dear to my heart as I went through the group myself. It's become a running joke that I'm the groups designer as I have helped the digitise their logo, create badge designs and give them some fun t-shirt designs for the Scout summer camp. I have also helped with event posters and leaflets.
